While camped in an aspen grove I enjoyed an afternoon of watching the trees’ cast shadows move across the surrounding ground. Next to camp was a lasrge, beautiful, lichen covered chunk of partially exposed granite. The wild rose plant bore “rose hips”. The tiny, crimson seed pods brought their subtle, leading influence to bear on the image. This is an intimate, tranquil view worth the contemplating .
